2. Stuff Gets Real

UPDATED 7 APRIL:
Selections deleted in the Apr 5 update, re-added below, with results of the weekend.
[Key: bold = tip correct and nearest the pin, bold red = tipped 4 points either side of the correct margin]
Updated ladder at right.

Teams of the week:
For sweeping each game of the round and restricting opponents to zero scores...

UPDATED 5 APRIL:
I am unsure this will be a regular feature (or if you want it to be known how you tip), but here goes for match week 1 / round 2:

Really comes down to margins in most of those matchups.

PS: let me know if this is something you want, or prefer tipping to be hidden.
Comment or via twitter (DM if you need)

2 APRIL:
Round 2 and the real tipping season kicks off now.
The random draw has been completed (just like Tattersalls, under Government supervision*), and this weeks matches to be tipped are...
* Not really

Brisbane Lions  -v-  Adelaide
Port Adelaide  -v-  GWS
Essendon  -v-  Melbourne
Geelong  -v-  North Melbourne
Collingwood  -v-  Carlton

Once again, DM (or email to tkyc.mail@gmail.com) your winners and the margins before 6pm on Friday 5 Apr.

This time... it all counts toward FMI Tipsters Premiership points!

  1. Those silly people who went all out in the first round. Practice makes perfect boys! 0 right in the practice round is the perfect start.

    1. Exactly... the Paul Roos approach worked for the Swans. Stuff the pre-season, concentrate on the real stuff.

  2. Is my G.D. -10 or -11? I'll take whatever I can get.

    1. G.D. correct at -11. A bug in the system gave me 0 for correctly tipping Geelong when you were closer on the margin. Under rules, you get a point only for being correct and closest.
